This example is related to the Root Bridge Switch
Root Bridge is currently Switch_A. It should change to be Switch_B Root Bridge

Host1 C:\> ping 192.168.1.2
Host1 C:\>ipconfig
Switch_A#enable
Switch_A#class (password)
Switch_A#show interface vlan 1 (view table of VLAN 1 on Switch A)

Switch_B#enable
Switch_B#class (password)
Switch_B#show interface vlan 1 (view table of VLAN 1 on Switch B)

Switch_A#show spanning-tree (Display Protocol, interfaces, priorities, root ID, bridge ID)

Setting Switch_B to Root Bridge
Switch_B#show spanning-tree (Display Protocol, interfaces, priorities, root ID, bridge ID)
Switch_B#configure terminal (entry in global config mode)
Switch_B(config)#spanning-tree vlan 1 proirity 4096 (set priority to the switch from 32769 in 4096)
Switch_B(config)#exit

Switch_A#show spanning-tree (Display Protocol, interfaces, priorities, root ID, bridge ID, and see the changes ROOT ID priority that is now 4097 and BRIDGE ID is still 32769)

Switch_B#show spanning-tree (Display Protocol, interfaces, priorities, root ID, bridge ID, and see the changes ROOT ID priority that is now 4097 and BRIDGE ID is still 4097)

Switch_B)#show running-config (In the current configuration, we can see that this switch_B set to ROOT BRIDGE because it has priority 4096 and the switch has priority 32769)
